The Esatau B – also known by the nickname of “Il televisore” (“the telly”) - was produced in 1957; it had a cabin with a modern, very beautiful and elegant line thanks to its completely flat design of the front, with protruding windshield relative to the plane radiator. The engine was a diesel, 6 cylinder with 150 horsepower, which allowed to reach a top speed of 65 km/h. The Esatau were widely used to manufacture special body buildings and various transformations, with axles added, such as buses for every passenger transportation need. Versions with 3 axles,  tractors for semi-trailers and special chassis for buses were also serial products of Lancia itself.
