THE FIELD WORKSHOP OF THE ITALIAN ARMY

The heavy Unified Vehicle Lancia 3RO was a truck produced between 1938 and 1949 in Italy by Lancia Industrial Vehicles – the company born in Turin 1912 – and widely used for civil and military purposes with a total of nearly 12.700 vehicles. The Royal Italian Army, up to 1938, employed it on all fronts of World War II with 9490 vehicles together with more than 1500 civil vehicles: it came out to be a exeptionally robust and reliable vehicle in every climate. It remained on duty with the Italian Army until 1965.
