THE PROGENITOR OF THE DAILY

The setting of the advanced Cab Leoncino makes of him the ancestor of the Eurocargo while the cab of the semi-recessed Fiat 615 instead prefigures light commercial vehicles such as the Daily. Presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1951, its rounded front recalled the Fiat 1400 and the 500C. The petrol model (39 horsepower) was joined a year later by a diesel engine (from 40 to 47 horsepower), called the 615N and produced until 1960.
